Lake Monticello Junior League offers your child the opportunity to enjoy golf with friends, make new friends, have fun, and improve. Practices will utilize US Kids curriculum and advancement. The Lake Monticello team will play intersquad games and all players will play. It is our goal to play other clubs in the Charlottesville area.
Half Day Camps are designed to introduce the fundamentals of putting, short game, full swing, rules and etiquette, and scoring in a fun environment. We will work through levels of the US Kids golf game-based curriculum and award achievement pins.
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their technical skills as well as develop an understanding of course management, shot selection, rules and etiquette. Players will participate in the skills-based program in the morning. In the afternoon, campers head to the course for supervised play which allows students to apply techniques they learned on the range to the course. Lunch is included unless otherwise noted.
