Lake Monticello - located in Palmyra, VA, is an affordable wedding venue just outside of historic Charlottesville. Just 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville and 45 minutes from Richmond, this community-owned property features a combination of charming indoor and outdoor spaces where family and friends can gather to enjoy every moment of a wedding celebration. Imagine a ceremony at one of our lakeside beaches, a reception in a spacious event hall overlooking the manicured greens of a golf course, and dancing under the stars on one of our outdoor patios. Lake Monticello is a relaxed, one of a kind venue that can be customized to each couple’s unique taste. With over 350 acres of lake, a full 18 hole golf course, tennis & basketball courts, kid’s playgrounds, a baseball field, and new pool facilities, the possibilities are almost endless.
